What 1:1 coaching looks like

Working with me is a mix of non-judgemental conversation, loving support, practical strategy and usually a few good laughs. 

We look at what’s happening beneath the surface and pair it with the steps that make sense for your career, your values, and the direction you want to go.

You get space to talk through the emotions that come with change — the frustration, the hope, the pressure, the grief — and space to feel into and think clearly about your next moves. From there, we shape a plan that’s broken into small, doable steps. 

Coaching gives you:

How coaching works

Most clients begin with every-other-week sessions for the first few months. It’s a rhythm that helps us build momentum without overwhelming your schedule, and we adjust the pace based on your goals and bandwidth.

Between sessions, I’ll offer homework or reflections to keep the work moving — and you always get to say yes, no, or make a counteroffer. The process has to match your real life and your capacity.

If you want to share a win or ask a quick question between sessions, you can reach me by text, voice memo, or email. I respond within 48 business hours unless I’ve shared otherwise.

Coaching itself is different from therapy. Therapy focuses on diagnosis and mental health treatment. Coaching centers on your goals, your decisions, your patterns, and your leadership. 

As a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and Grief Recovery Specialist, I support both the emotional and practical layers of career transition without providing clinical care.

Sessions take place over Zoom or phone — whichever helps you stay focused and grounded.

How The AIM Method™ works

When we work together, we look at two sides of your career — what’s happening inside you, and the strategy that moves you forward.

1. ASSESS

We start by checking whether your current career strategy fits your values, purpose, skills, and strengths. We also look at the emotional weight you may be carrying — unprocessed career grief can cloud what you see and how you decide. This step gives you a clearer picture of what matters and what direction makes sense. If you’re considering a promotion, role change, or pivot, we look at how you’re telling your story and how you’re showing up professionally.

2. IGNITE

We also talk through the conversations that matter — the ones that shape opportunities, visibility, and momentum.
